From the roof down

Eight services. One crew.

Every job is priced in writing, done by our own licensed staff, and handed over with a warranty on the materials and the work. Across most of South Australia.

Roofing & Roof Replacement

Once a roof starts letting water in, the bill grows every winter you leave it. Ceilings, insulation, wiring, then the timbers. We will tell you whether yours needs replacing or just fixing.

We re-roof houses right across South Australia. Brick veneers in the northern suburbs, stone homes in the east, farmhouses past Gawler. Most of the work is stripping old tiles and putting steel on, but we also replace tired metal roofs and repair the timbers underneath when they have had enough.

Roof Restoration

Plenty of tired-looking roofs are structurally fine. If the tiles and timbers are sound, a restoration gets you another ten to fifteen years for a fraction of the cost of replacing it.

If your ridge capping has cracked, the pointing has crumbled or the colour has faded to chalk, the roof probably looks worse than it is. Restoration fixes the parts that fail and leaves the parts that work.

Gutters & Downpipes

Gutters are the least interesting part of a house and the most expensive to ignore. Water that is not carried away runs into the eaves, the walls, and eventually the footings.

We replace guttering, fascia and downpipes across South Australia in Colorbond® steel to match your roof. A lot of older Adelaide homes have gutters that were never big enough. We size the new ones for a real downpour, not the minimum that fits.

Carports

Your car is probably the second most expensive thing you own, and in Adelaide it spends most of its life in the sun or waiting for the next hailstorm. A carport is the cheapest fix for both.

Every carport we build is drawn for the house it is going on. We measure the site, draw it in CAD, and show you a 3D picture of how it will sit against your roofline and bricks before you decide.

Verandahs

A verandah is the one you will use every weekend. Shade in summer, dry in winter, and a lot cheaper than an extension.

We design and build verandahs to fit the house. Flat, gable, dutch gable or curved, freestanding or attached, with a Colorbond® sheet roof or insulated panel. Every one is measured on site and drawn before we build it.

Ziptrak® Outdoor Blinds

A verandah gives you shade. Blinds give you a room. Ziptrak® runs in a side track with no ropes or zips, so it seals the edges and you can use the space in weather that would normally send you inside.

Ziptrak® is designed and made here in Adelaide. The blind runs in a track on each side, stops wherever you leave it, and seals the edges so wind and rain do not come around the sides.

Ziptrak® Interior Blinds

Interior blinds get pulled up and down every day, which is why the cheap ones fail so fast. Made-to-measure, track-guided blinds keep working.

The same track-guided system, made for inside. Blockout, light-filter and sunscreen fabrics, measured for each window so there is no light gap down the sides.

Roller Shutters

Roller shutters do three jobs at once. The house is harder to break into, cheaper to cool, and quieter.

Insulated aluminium shutters, made to measure and installed across South Australia. Manual or motorised, with remote, wall switch or smart-home control.
