Roof Restoration
Plenty of tired-looking roofs are structurally fine. If the tiles and timbers are sound, a restoration gets you another ten to fifteen years for a fraction of the cost of replacing it.
What we do.
If your ridge capping has cracked, the pointing has crumbled or the colour has faded to chalk, the roof probably looks worse than it is. Restoration fixes the parts that fail and leaves the parts that work.
We pressure clean it, replace broken tiles, re-bed and repoint the ridge with flexible pointing, then apply a primer, colour coat and clear glaze. It sheds water again, reflects heat, and looks new from the street.
What's in the price.
Every one of these is written into the quote before we start, so there is nothing to argue about at the end.
- High-pressure clean. Moss, lichen and years of grime taken back to clean tile.
- Broken tile replacement. Cracked and slipped tiles swapped and colour-matched.
- Ridge capping re-bedded. Loose caps lifted and set on fresh bedding.
- Flexible repointing. Modern pointing that moves with the roof instead of cracking off it.
- Valley irons checked. Rusted valleys are the most common hidden leak. We replace them if they need it.
- Three-coat finish. Primer, colour and protective glaze in the colour you choose.
- Gutters cleaned. Included with every restoration.
- Warranty in writing. On the coating system and on our work.

For carports and verandahs we draw it in CAD and show you a 3D picture. Every job gets a written quote with the scope and inclusions spelled out.
We handle approvals and book a date
Where council approval or engineering is needed, we prepare and lodge it. Then we book a start date and tell you what to expect each day.
Our own crew does the work
Licensed trades, on site when we said, working to the quoted scope. If something unexpected turns up we stop and speak to you first.
We walk it with you and hand over the warranty
You inspect the job with us. We sweep the driveway for screws. You get the materials and workmanship warranties in writing.

A well-prepared and coated tile roof will usually go 10 to 15 years before it needs attention again. The pointing lasts longer than that.
If the leak is coming from failed pointing, a cracked tile or a rusted valley, yes, because we fix all three. If the leak is structural, a restoration will not fix it and we will say so up front.
Yes. We bring samples and hold them against your bricks before anything gets sprayed.
