Ziptrak® Outdoor Blinds
A verandah gives you shade. Ziptrak® gives you a room. Track-guided, gap-free, and operated with one hand — it's the difference between an outdoor area you use twice a year and one you use every week.
What we actually do.
Ziptrak® is an Australian-designed track-guided system with no ropes, zips or buckles. The blind runs in a side track and stops wherever you leave it, sealing the edges so wind and rain don't get around the sides.
We install in clear PVC for winter weather protection, tinted PVC for glare, and mesh for summer shade and privacy — often a combination across a single alfresco depending on which way each opening faces.
What's in the quote.
Every one of these is written into your fixed quote before work starts, so there is nothing to argue about at the end.
- On-site measure and quote — Measured to the opening, allowing for posts, beams and fall.
- Clear, tinted or mesh — Chosen per opening based on aspect, glare and what you want to keep out.
- Track-guided operation — One-handed operation, stops at any height, no ropes or buckles.
- Full weather seal — Side tracks close the gaps that rope-and-pulley blinds leave open.
- Motorisation available — Remote and smart-home controlled options.
- Colour-matched hardware — Tracks and headboxes powder-coated to match the structure.
- Professional installation — Fitted by our own installers, not subcontracted out.
- Warranty on parts and labour — Manufacturer warranty plus our installation warranty.
The same five steps, every job.
You always know what is happening next, what it costs, and who will be on your property.
Free on-site assessment
We come to the house, get up on the roof or into the space, and photograph what we find. You get shown the actual condition of your home, not a sales pitch.
Design and fixed written quote
For carports and verandahs we draw it in CADD and give you a 3D visualisation. For every job you get a fixed written quote with the scope and inclusions spelled out.
Approvals and scheduling
Where council approval or engineering certification is needed, we prepare and lodge it. Then we book a start date and tell you what to expect each day.
Installation by our own crew
Licensed trades, on site when we said, working to the quoted scope. If anything unexpected turns up we stop and speak to you before proceeding.
Final inspection, clean-up and warranty
We walk the job with you, sweep every fixing off the driveway, and hand over your written materials and workmanship warranties.
Ziptrak® Outdoor Blinds — answered.
Straight answers to what people ask us most about this particular job.
In normal weather, yes — the track seal is what makes the difference. In driving horizontal rain you may get some spray at the very bottom edge, which is true of any outdoor blind.
That's the main reason people fit them. Clear PVC with the blinds down traps a surprising amount of warmth and blocks the wind entirely.
Very little. Wipe the PVC with a soft cloth and mild soapy water, keep the tracks clear of debris, and they'll run smoothly for years.
Yes. Motorisation is available on most spans and can be integrated with remote or smart-home control.
Other things we do.
Bundling work while the crew is already on site is almost always cheaper than doing it separately later.
